To, Tumblr, seriously, if you ruin Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part I or II I’ll never forgive you. I mean, yeah I’ve read the book and all, so I know exactly what happens, but I want to be surprised and wowed this November!
There are way to many screen shots and captions and interviews and insider information interviews floating around being posted and reblogged. At this point I don’t even want to watch the trailer.
Thanks.
Dance the Way I Feel: Ou Est Le Swimming Pool
(I hear this song at work and like it. The first few notes of the intro are great)
Original cost of sweater: $69.50. Cost on sale: $16.87. Nice.
Hilarious.
And of course I’ll give credit to maeby

Yo, If The Chamber of Secrets was opened fifty years ago, and Hagrid was a student at the time (and suspected culprit) wouldn’t he be at least sixty years old?
I mean, first years are eleven, so if he was a first year, he would be sixty one now. He doesn’t look sixty one years old…
EDIT: Yeah, I was thinking it could be that giants age at different rates (Hagrid being half giant he’d age at 1/2 speed?) but I’m not convinced. Didn’t Hagrid know James and Lilly Potter? Didn’t they go to school together with Lupin and Serius and all the others? They aren’t sixty. I mean, Dumbledore was there, but he’s old, so don’t try to use him to help factor this equation. I need to know now, someone call J.K. Rowling.
Everything except the original poster, and the gif. I want to watch Arrested Development, but I’m too busy. Buster (see below) and Gob are my favorite characters.
Below are the original and final sentences I wrote to tell the ninth graders the purpose of the table I’ve inserted into the poetry assignment sheet.
Original: Use the table below to record your selections as you decide who you would like to examine in better detail, as well as which works you will be choosing to clarify.
Final: Use the table below to write down who you chose, and what poems you select.
I’ve been writing for an audience of professors for the last four years; I must reduce my vocabulary to the vernacular of a thirteen year old. The last few assignment sheets I distributed did not go over well, which lead me to hand out another sheet. This time I will get it right the first time.
Yo, I wish I took “Before” and “After” shots when I was working out. Since I stopped lifting weights, I’ve lost over fifteen pounds of muscle. Believe me, I needed that weight.
It always takes me a while to get into it, but once I do I enjoy it. I am glad New York State has updated their English Standards. (Everyone reading this from AED should click the link.)
I’ve temporarily changed the name of my blog for class on Friday. Things will be back to normal afterwords.
If you have suggestions for another name for my blog (instead of my user name, AShort315) please click “Ask” at the top of my page.
